The Brief

Saloo & Neena Choudhury hold two Guinness World Records for circumnavigating the globe by car — first in 1989, then breaking their own record in 1991. Decades of history — certificates, routes, photographs, and the story behind the Choudhury Trophy named in their honour — existed scattered across print and memory. They needed a proper home for it: something that reads as credible history, not a hastily assembled tribute page.

What We Built

A content-rich legacy site built to carry decades of history clearly:

  • An interactive timeline running from the first 1989 attempt through the 1991 record-breaking journey, with the milestones that mattered along the way
  • Individual journey pages for each expedition, with distances, durations, and the story of each leg
  • A certificate and photo gallery presenting the original Guinness World Record documents and journey photography
  • Dedicated sections for their achievements, the Choudhury Trophy, and the Contessa Classic and Hindustan Ambassador cars that carried them across six continents
  • An FAQ section answering the questions people actually ask about the records, so the story is findable through search as well as direct visits

Results

A permanent, credible digital record of an achievement that predates most of the web — built so the Choudhurys’ story is as easy to find and verify today as the certificates themselves.
